CHRISTINA MÅRTENSSON HOLMBERG

Christina is a talented and successful visual artist born 1949 in Nässjö, Sweden. She performs oil paintings filled with personality and atmosphere of light, rhythm, and movement. All the people that have already invested in Christina´s paintings often express that her art offers them a feeling of calm, peace, and freedom. 

Christina has been fortunate for more than 30 years to live by the sea next to Øresund and are inspired by the light and different colors that nature creates entering her studio every day. Christina love to paint and have been doing it all her life and had her first official exhibition in 1970 and has been member of “Västra Skånes Konstnärsgille”, VSKG since 1995. She has been fortunate to be invited to do countless exhibitions over the years all over Sweden and are grateful every year when she receives more than 1000 visitors in her home Gallery & Art studio.

Received Vellinge Municipality's Cultural Scholarship in 1980. Member of VSKG since 1995 where she was active as chairman for a 2-year period.
